Role Overview
We are looking for a results-driven freelance or part time Investment & Business Development Associate with a proven track record of raising capital for startups and growth-stage companies in India. This individual will serve as our external fundraising arm, responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing investors ranging from angel investors and HNIs to venture capital firms, family offices, and strategic/corporate investors.
This is a high-impact, outcome-driven engagement ideal for investment bankers, startup advisors, fundraising consultants, or business development professionals who thrive in deal-making environments.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Sourcing & Outreach: Identify and build a pipeline of potential investors including angel networks, VCs, PE funds, family offices, HNIs, NRI investors, and strategic partners with interest in the EV / clean mobility sector.
Pitch & Positioning: Collaborate with the founding team to refine the investor pitch deck, financial model, term sheet, and company narrative to make Future Motors investment-ready and compelling.




Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage investor relationships from initial outreach through due diligence, negotiation, and deal closure. Serve as the primary point of contact for investor communications.
Fundraising Strategy: Advise on optimal capital structure, round sizing, valuation benchmarks, and instrument selection (equity, convertible notes, SAFE, venture debt) appropriate to the company's stage and sector.
Government Grants & Subsidies: Identify and pursue applicable government incentives, EV subsidies (FAME-III, state-level EV policies), startup grants (Startup India, TANSEED, MSME schemes), and institutional funding opportunities.
Strategic Partnerships: Explore and facilitate partnerships with OEMs, fleet operators, logistics companies, EV ecosystem players, and corporate venture arms that could lead to strategic investment or commercial agreements.
