Madhouse Mafia is a creator-economy studio formed from the merger of The Content Mafia and Madhouse Media, built around three verticals — Brands, Agency, and Talent. The studio manages an exclusive roster of 50+ creators, runs retainers with marquee brands, and is one of the fastest-growing players in finance and lifestyle creator marketing in India. As the team scales rapidly across creators, clients, and full-time hires, we're building out People & Culture as a core function for the first time.

The Role

We're hiring our first dedicated People & Culture Manager to build HR from the ground up — someone who can bring structure to a fast-moving, founder-led organisation without slowing it down. You'll own the full employee lifecycle across our Brands, Agency, and Talent verticals, and work closely with the leadership team to shape culture as we scale.

What You'll Do

Own end-to-end recruitment for full-time roles across Brands, Agency, and Talent verticals — from job descriptions to offer rollout




Design and run onboarding so current hires are productive and culturally aligned from week one
Build core HR policies (leave, attendance, code of conduct, POSH compliance) suited to a lean, fast-paced studio
Set up a lightweight performance management and feedback cycle across verticals
Coordinate payroll, compliance, and documentation with the finance/accounts function
Drive culture and engagement — townhalls, team offsites, recognition, and internal communication
Handle employee relations, grievances, and exits with discretion and fairness
Partner with vertical leads (Brands, Agency, Talent) to plan hiring against growth targets
Build compensation benchmarks appropriate for a creator-economy/media services business
Put in place the HR systems and documentation the company will need as it crosses 50+ employees

What We're Looking For

1–3 years in an HR generalist or People Ops role, ideally at a startup, media, marketing, or creator-economy company
