Job Description

Wipro is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Backend Developer to join our software engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power enterprise applications. The candidate should possess strong programming skills, experience in API development, database management, and a solid understanding of software architecture principles.

As a Backend Developer, you will work closely with frontend developers, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and project managers to deliver robust and secure software solutions. You will be involved throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirement gathering and design to deployment and production support.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities,



and the capability to build high-performance applications capable of handling large volumes of data and user traffic.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
Build secure and efficient RESTful APIs and web services.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
Optimize application performance and database queries.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless application integration.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Participate in software architecture and technical design discussions.
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
