Job description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Analytical Scientist. In this role, the candidate will play a key part in characterising, assaying, and optimizing enzymes and proteins. The ideal candidate possesses strong hands-on experience in biological sample handling, enzyme kinetics, protein purification, and modern analytical instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

Protein & Enzyme Characterization: Perform enzyme kinetics, stability assays, activity testing, and characterization studies.

Protein Purification & Handling: Isolate, purify, and formulate recombinant or natural proteins and enzymes using techniques like FPLC, affinity chromatography, or ultrafiltration.

Analytical Testing: Develop, optimize,



and execute analytical assays (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, ELISA, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and Fluorometry) to evaluate protein purity, yield, and concentration.

Method Development & Validation: Assist in developing and validating robust analytical protocols for enzyme/protein analysis in compliance with laboratory guidelines (e.g., GLP/GMP where applicable).

Data Analysis & Documentation: Interpret complex analytical data, maintain exact electronic lab notebooks (ELN), prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), and write summary reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Present experimental findings clearly to cross-functional scientific teams and project managers
