CelerisAI is an AI/ML-guided small molecule drug discovery startup from Bengaluru. As we scale and prepare for our first institutional funding round, we are looking to appoint a Chartered Accountant or CA firm as our long-term finance and compliance partner and advisor.

Startup-specific scope (core to this engagement)
Fundraising (equity). A track record of successfully closed rounds for early-stage DeepTech or life sciences companies, including financial modelling, cap table management, valuation certificates, and Section 56/62 compliance
Identifying and connecting us with suitable investors — Indian and international. Angels, VCs, family offices, and strategic/pharma investors, along with investor relations and post-close reporting to funders
End-to-end due diligence readiness and management for seed and Series A rounds
IP valuation — mandatory. Demonstrable experience valuing patents, provisional filings, and pre-clinical IP assets is a non-negotiable requirement for us
Preparation of project reports and expense/utilisation reports for government grants.




ESOP structuring and accounting; DPIIT/Startup India compliance

Routine compliance and accounting
ROC/MCA annual filings, board and shareholder resolutions, statutory registers
Monthly bookkeeping, accounts payable, and management reporting
GST registration, returns, and reconciliation; TDS and advance tax
Payroll processing and related filings
Statutory audit coordination and finalisation of accounts

What we are looking for in a firm/qualified
Practising CA or firm with demonstrable success in closing fundraises for DeepTech or life sciences startups
An active investor network across India and, ideally, international markets
Proven IP valuation credentials
Working familiarity with grant-funded entities and government reporting formats
Bengaluru-based preferred; responsive, proactive, and able to advise — not just file
