Job Title: Microbiologist

Department: Quality Assurance / Microbiology

Location: Sanand, Gujarat

Eligibility: Gujarat Domicile Candidates

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 911 Months

Shift Timings:

- Second Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
- Third Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Weekly Off: One day between Monday and Friday

Facilities: Transport and Food Provided

Role & responsibilities :

Job Purpose The Microbiologist will support the Quality Assurance team in ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance with the Company standards and regulatory requirements through microbiological testing, monitoring, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine microbiological testing of raw materials, water, inprocess samples, and finished products.
- Perform environmental monitoring (air, water, surface, and equipment swabs).
- Prepare culture media, reagents, and samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct basic microbiological analyses such as total plate count, yeast & Mold, coliforms, and pathogen screening under supervision.
- Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP),



Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and food safety programs (HACCP).
- Record test results accurately in laboratory logs or quality systems.
- Assist in investigation of microbiological deviations and corrective actions.
- Ensure laboratory cleanliness, equipment calibration, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Support audits and inspections by maintaining proper documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Degree / Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of microbiological testing techniques.
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Good analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow SOPs and work in a regulated manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to work in shift if required.
