– MEP Operations (IT Parks)

Location: Pune

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the role of MEP Operations (IT Parks) to oversee and manage the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing operations across IT Park facilities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, safety compliance, energy efficiency, maintenance planning, and operational excellence of all MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of MEP systems and ensure all equipment functions optimally in line with regulatory standards.
- Monitor and maintain in office health and safety policies.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.
- Prepare detailed specifications, reports, documentation, and operational records related to MEP systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to mitigate potential hazards.
- Organize safety training sessions and emergency drills to ensure team preparedness and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and support overall facility management functions.
- Recommend improvements to ensure safety,



functionality, and compliance with applicable government regulations.
- Design and implement energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable operational practices to reduce operational costs.
- Provide technical clarifications and resolve coordination issues and design modifications as per on-site requirements.
- Develop cost-effective operational solutions, optimize procurement processes, and minimize resource wastage.
- Maintain updated knowledge of building codes, environmental standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for smooth project and maintenance execution.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance activities are completed within defined timelines.

Key Skills Required:

- Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Strong understanding of MEP operations and facility management within commercial or IT park environments.
- Proficiency in project management tools and operational planning techniques.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, vendors, and operational resources effectively.

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience:

- 7+ years of relevant experience in MEP Operations, Facility Management, or IT Parks/Commercial Real Estate operations.
