Ruvimo is looking for experienced and engaging SAT Math Tutors to provide 1:1 live online tutoring to students in the United States preparing for the Digital SAT.
Role Overview
As an SAT Math Tutor, you will help students build strong mathematical foundations, master Digital SAT Math concepts, identify areas of improvement, and develop effective problem-solving and test-taking strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct engaging 1:1 online SAT Math sessions for U.S. students.
Teach concepts aligned with the Digital SAT Math section.
Cover key areas including:
Algebra
Advanced Math
Problem-Solving & Data Analysis
Geometry & Trigonometry
Teach SAT-specific strategies for approaching different question types efficiently.
Help students improve accuracy, speed, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Train students to effectively use the Desmos graphing calculator where appropriate.
Work through SAT-style questions, practice sets, and mock tests.
Analyze student mistakes and explain both the concept and reasoning behind the correct solution.




Identify individual learning gaps and customize sessions accordingly.
Track student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
Build students' confidence in approaching challenging SAT Math problems.
Requirements
Excellent command of SAT-level Mathematics.
Solid understanding of Algebra, Advanced Math, Data Analysis, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
Prior experience teaching SAT Math is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with the current Digital SAT format, question types, and scoring approach.
Familiarity with Desmos and its application in Digital SAT Math.
Experience teaching U.S. students or familiarity with the U.S. education system is preferred.
Ability to explain multiple approaches to solving a problem and simplify complex mathematical concepts.
Excellent English communication skills.
Comfortable conducting 1:1 online classes.
Reliable laptop/desktop, high-speed internet connection, webcam, and headset.
