Job Purpose

The Senior Lift Inspector acts as a leading technical expert responsible for inspecting to ensure the safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.
This role leads third-party periodic inspections, witnesses testing for new installations or modernizations, and provides technical mentorship to junior inspection engineers.

the Senior Inspector bridges traditional hands-on safety examinations with modern, data-driven digital inspection tools.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Inspections & Safety Compliance
Advanced Code Inspections:

Performs rigorous statutory and periodic physical inspections of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical lift systems to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (e.g., EN 81 / ISO 8100 series, ASME A17.1).

Safety & Function Testing:

Witnesses and verifies crucial safety tests, including over-speed governors, emergency braking systems, and buffer clearances.

Design & Structural Reviews:

Conducts design drawing reviews, circuit diagram analyses, and work completion verifications for modernizations and current installations.

Modern Technology Evaluation:

Utilizes and evaluates digital solutions like the ADIAS system.

Audit-Ready Reports:

Prepares accurate, legally binding inspection reports, conditional assessme
