Job Summary
The Finance & Accounting Senior Associate is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting support, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and ensuring accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
Record and verify journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payments.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform general ledger reconciliations and account analysis.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
Monitor customer collections and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
Ensure timely payments while maintaining healthy cash flow.
Banking & Cash Management
Prepare bank reconciliations.
Monitor daily cash position and fund requirements.
Process online banking transactions and maintain banking records.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns.
Ensure compliance with TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Qualified Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits and assessments.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting.
Analyze budget variances and prepare management reports.
Support financial planning and cost optimization initiatives.
Payroll Support
Coordinate payroll processing with HR.
Verify payroll inputs, deductions, reimbursements, and statutory contributions.
Audit & Compliance
Assist internal and external auditors.
Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
MIS Reporting
Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for management.
Develop financial dashboards and performance reports.
