Job Objective:
Drive sourcing strategy
Driving cost reduction thru various initiatives.
De-risking (alternate source developments / new technology supplier inclusion)
Commercial settlements & Rate contracts (synergy suppliers and high value parts)
Vendor Assessment (addition of recent vendors)




Drive digital initiatives / other new initiatives (Analytics / SRM / Me11 & Me12 dev. / MRO Outsourcing / Out-Sourcing etc.)
Communization of vendor base across Engg companies to increase leverage and derive synergy.
Vendor evaluation

Primary responsibilities:
Strategic and Planning
Boughtouts Budget for Engineering & ACGi
Drive long term strategy
Business continuity
Business Rules (review on compliance and drive)
Inventory Management (Monitor/review & get the actions to reduce free and non-moving)
Functional
(for fulfilling the responsibilities and meeting customer expectations).
Spend Analysis to understand the major spend part families and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Identify vendor strengths/weaknesses of existing supplier viz a viz of current business requirement. Plan for addressing the same.
Scanning of market for identifying suppliers meeting QCD.
