Technical Project Manager – Software Engineering (Delivery & Operations)

Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Sprint Operations
Run the day-to-day delivery cadence for one or more software squads — sprint planning, stand ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Maintain a healthy, well-prioritized, and estimated backlog in partnership with engineering leads and product stakeholders.
Track velocity, burn-down, and sprint commitments; proactively surface risks, blockers, and slippage before they become fire drills.
Keep the tooling (Jira, Confluence, etc.) accurate and current so status is always a click away, not a meeting away.
Release & Engineering Operations
Coordinate releases and deployments across environments — plan release windows, track readiness, and drive go/no-go decisions with engineering and QA.
Partner with engineering on CI/CD, workplace management, and deployment workflows so releases are predictable and low-drama.
Own incident and escalation coordination: run the response process,



keep stakeholders informed, and drive blameless post-mortems and follow-up actions.
Track technical debt, reliability, and operational work alongside feature delivery so they dont get crowded out.
Cross-Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Map and manage cross-team dependencies between engineering, data science, analytics, and business teams; keep everyone aligned on sequencing and hand-offs.
Serve as the single point of contact for delivery status — translating technical detail into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
Coordinate with vendors, third-party tools, and external partners as needed to unblock the team.
Run the communication rhythm: status reports, project readouts, and stakeholder syncs.
Process, Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Define, track, and report delivery metrics, OKRs and KPIs — cycle time, throughput, predictability, defect/escape rates, on-time deliv
