About the Role

The SCM Finance Analyst will partner with the Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams to drive financial planning, cost optimization, inventory governance, and business performance. The role involves analyzing supply chain costs, monitoring inventory movements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis
Prepare monthly MIS, dashboards, and financial reports for Supply Chain operations.
Analyze procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution costs.
Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
Perform variance analysis against budget and previous periods, highlighting key business drivers.
Cost Control & Optimization
Monitor material costs, freight expenses, warehouse costs, and other supply chain expenditures.




Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvement initiatives.
Track cost reduction projects and measure financial advantages.
Support vendor cost evaluations and commercial analysis.
Inventory & Working Capital
Monitor inventory valuation and stock movements.
Analyze inventory ageing, slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
Reconcile inventory records with finance books.
Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and reduce inventory losses.
Business Partnering
Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Logistics, and Operations teams for financial decision-making.
Provide financial insights for sourcing strategies and vendor negotiations.
Support business cases for new projects, warehouse expansion, automation, and process improvements.
Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely month-end closing activities related to Supply Chain Finance.
