Role: Senior Manager (Human Resources)
Location: Dahej, Gujarat

The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end Human Resources function for our manufacturing plant and partner with plant leadership on people strategy, compliance, and productivity. This is a floor-facing, decision-heavy role for a leader who runs HR from the shopfloor - balancing statutory compliance, industrial relations, workforce management, and digital HR maturity - and treats every HR issue as a time-bound problem to be closed before it escalates.

Responsibilities

Own all plant-level statutory compliance (Factories Act, Contract Labour R&A;, EPF, ESI, Minimum Wages, and applicable Gujarat labour rules), keeping records audit-ready and representing the plant before authorities and in audits
Manage industrial relations end to end grievance handling, disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries, and contract-labour governance - with a proactive, preventive posture
Drive end-to-end HRMS implementation and adoption at the plant: configuration, data migration, attendance/shift and payroll integration,



employee self-service rollout, and change management
Own the full employee lifecycle - onboarding, confirmation, transfers, exits, and full-and-final settlements - within defined turnaround times
Partner with department heads on manpower planning, org structure, and cost-effective hiring across workmen, staff, and technical roles
Run the plant performance-management cycle and build a culture of accountability and ownership on the floor
Design and execute training, employee engagement, and welfare initiatives that improve retention and morale
Publish accurate, timely HR MIS and dashboards (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, overtime, compliance) to plant leadership
Maintain a visible, credible presence on the shopfloor and lead and develop the plant HR & Admin team
