Role: Technical Leader – MCU (Motor Control Unit)

The Technical Leader for Motor Control Unit (MCU) is responsinle to own the product strategy, roadmap, and technical direction for our motor control platform(s). This role blends deep motor control expertise with product leadership—defining the vision, aligning cross ? functional execution, shaping the architecture, and delivering market ? winning features with measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Define multi ? year product vision and platform strategy for MCU ? based motor control (features, performance tiers, safety, cybersecurity, connectivity).
Build 2–3 year product roadmaps and quarterly release plans balancing new features, performance improvements, and technical debt reduction.
Create segment ? specific variants with reusable core components and configurable options.
Establish product requirement documents (PRD) and technical roadmaps with clear value propositions and target metrics (efficiency, torque ripple, start ? up robustness, diagnostics coverage).




Run portfolio reviews and gate decisions (business case, TCO, ROI, build vs. buy, reuse vs. current). Define the end-to-end system architecture for the Motor Control Unit (MCU), covering hardware, software, control algorithms, communication interfaces, and diagnostics.
Translate Market Trends, RFQs and customer feedback into prioritized product features
Drive Competitive benchmarking (algorithms, control loops, EMI/thermal performance, toolchains, cost)
Engage with key customers, OEMs and partners to shape the roadmap and co-development models
Interface with cross-functional teams like Program Management, Business Development and Engineering teams to drive Product strategy and development

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science Engineering.
15+ years of experience in motor control systems, power electronics, or embedded systems for automotive or industrial applicat
