About The Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Reliability Engineer to support a Coal Handling and Preparation Plant in the Muswellbrook area.
This is a hands-on, site-based position focused on improving mechanical asset reliability and supporting the ongoing performance of the CHPP. Depending on the successful contractor, the assignment may continue for up to two years.
The position is onsite only and requires someone who can commence as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting mechanical reliability engineering activities across the CHPP
- Using reliability engineering principles to improve equipment performance
- Reviewing and analysing asset and maintenance information
- Supporting reliability reporting and improvement activities
- Working with SAP, BI, Excel and project systems
- Collaborating with site maintenance, engineering and operational stakeholders
About You
- Mechanical experience within a CHPP environment
- Previous reliability engineering experience
- Solid SAP knowledge
- Experience using BI, Excel and project systems
- Ability to work onsite in the Muswellbrook area
- Availability to commence as soon as possible
