Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Overall Skilled Experience
- At least 7 years of experience. In which, 2-3 years in supporting mechanical equipment installations.
- Good knowledge of hospital and laboratory equipment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in surveying site utilities, capacity, and application details.
- Review previous studies, data collection reports, and hospital plans.
- Research relevant laws, regulations, and standards for compliance.
- Prepare schematic mechanical drawings under senior engineer’s guidance.
- Contribute to schematic design reports and calculation sheets.
- Support in finalizing mechanical design conditions for detailed development.
- Assist in surveying local construction practices.
- Research and suggest optimization strategies for construction methods.
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings as part of the design process.
- Assist the Cost Management Engineer with cost estimates and material calculations.
- Calculate material and labor quantities for the project.
- Support the preparation of tender documents for mechanical work.
- Review construction work plans and provide feedback.
- Assist in site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and report to the senior engineer.
- Participate in construction completion inspections.
- Contribute to the preparation of the mechanical works completion report.
