Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems, including HVAC, ventilation, and fire protection systems, for commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional projects. The candidate should possess robust technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred candidate profile

- Design HVAC, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
- Prepare cooling load calculations, equipment selection, duct sizing, and ventilation calculations.
- Develop mechanical layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architectural,



and structural teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and technical submittals.
- Conduct site visits for inspections, progress monitoring, and technical support during construction.
- Resolve design and site-related engineering issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE, NBC, and relevant industry standards.
- Assist in project planning, BOQ preparation, material specifications, and estimation.
- Support project managers in achieving quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built records.
