Preferably having 2-4 years of work experience in NPD roles Key Skills & Expertise: Proficient in mechanical design tools such as Catia, AutoCAD, and Windchill
Expertise in working with plastic components, die casting, and sheet metal design
Skilled in design calculations, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;)
In-depth knowledge of New Product Development (NPD) cycles and Quality Management Systems
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP documentation and processes
Familiarity with operating 3D printers, CNC machines etc.
Roles and Responsibilities: Leading the design and development of plastic models for automotive products
Developing engineering details, mechanisms and DFMA to bring the product from concept to production
Supporting all development phases, from requirements gathering to deployment
Conducting peer reviews to ensure high-quality designs
Analyzing and enhancing the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
Integrating and validating new product designs for production
Providing support for mechanical QA performance and post-production troubleshooting
Collaborating effectively with internal teams to meet project goals
