Role Description The Master of Yarn Dyeing role is a full-time, in office position based at Khodiyar Tex in Surat. The individual in this role oversees the entire yarn dyeing process, including shade matching, dye bath preparation, and monitoring dyeing operations to ensure color accuracy and consistency. Day-to-day tasks include supervising machine settings, controlling temperature and chemical dosing, checking samples, and coordinating with production staff to meet quality and delivery targets.

The role also involves maintaining process records, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental guidelines, and troubleshooting dyeing issues to minimize waste and rework.



Collaboration with quality control and procurement teams is expected to optimize dye usage, improve processes, and support continuous improvement in the dyeing department.

Qualifications Strong technical expertise in yarn dyeing processes, including shade matching, dye selection, and machine operation.

Solid understanding of textile fibers, dyes, chemicals, and their behavior in various dyeing conditions.

Experience maintaining quality standards, conducting visual and instrumental color checks, and reducing defects.

Ability to supervise and train dyeing operators, coordinate workflows, and manage production schedules.

Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental practices related to chemical handling and dyeing operations.

Prior experience in a textile dyeing unit, preferably in yarn dyeing, with a proven track record of consistent results.

Diploma or degree in Textile Technology or a related field is preferred; extensive practical experience may be considered in place of formal education.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced production environment.

Basic familiarity with production documentation and reporting;

experience with textile lab testing is an advantage.
