Role Purpose

We are looking for Functional Marketing Managers to manage marketing and business-development activities for a specific business vertical.

The selected candidate will work under the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager and lead a team of Marketing Executives/Specialists to generate qualified leads, support client acquisition and grow the assigned business vertical.

Functional Verticals

Candidates may be assigned to one of the following:

- HR Services
- SaaS Products & Digital Products
- AI Marketing Services for Clients
- DSA Products & Services

Key Responsibilities
- Develop marketing and lead-generation plans for the assigned vertical.
- Identify target customers and potential business opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads through appropriate marketing channels.
- Manage and guide Marketing Executives/Specialists assigned to the vertical.
- Prepare campaigns, content and promotional activities.
- Support the Regional Manager in client acquisition and sales activities.
- Understand customer requirements and communicate suitable products/services.
- Coordinate with the Regional Manager for prospects, meetings and proposals.
- Monitor lead quality, conversion and campaign performance.
- Maintain regular reporting of marketing activities and results.
- Identify new markets, customer segments and business opportunities.
- Support customer retention, repeat business, cross-selling and upselling.

Team Management The Functional Marketing Manager will manage and coordinate the Marketing Executive/Specialist working under the assigned vertical.





Responsibilities include

- Assigning daily/weekly marketing activities.
- Reviewing work and lead quality.
- Supporting team members with marketing direction.
- Monitoring targets and performance.
- Coordinating with the Regional Manager.
- Ensuring timely completion of assigned activities.

Vertical-Specific Knowledge

HR: HR services, recruitment, HRMS, payroll, compliance or workforce solutions.

SaaS Products: SaaS, ERP, CRM, websites, applications and digital products.

AI Marketing: AI marketing, marketing automation, WhatsApp marketing, AI funnels, lead generation, Meta Ads, SEO/SCO and branding.

DSA: DSA/business distribution products, customer acquisition, lead generation and relationship management.

Relevant experience in the assigned vertical is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business, Management, Sales,



Technology or equivalent experience preferred.

2 years of practical marketing, sales or business-development experience preferred.

Strong practical experience, client portfolio or demonstrable marketing results may be considered in place of formal qualification.

Languages

Good spoken and written English is required.

Knowledge of one or more Indian regional languages is required/preferred depending on the assigned territory, including:

- Punjabi
- Bengali
- Telugu
- Tamil
- Malayalam
- Kannada
- Odia
- Assamese
- Other Indian regional languages

Candidates who can communicate in multiple Indian languages will have an advantage.
