We're looking for a Manufacturing Logistics Design & Optimization Consultant to join us on a contract basis for an exciting manufacturing transformation project.

Location: Bangalore (Onsite)

Experience: 4–5 years (Mandatory)

Employment Type: Contract

What you'll be working on

- Designing and optimizing material flow within manufacturing facilities.
- Improving line-side logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory movement.
- Conducting logistics assessments and identifying operational bottlenecks.
- Developing optimized layouts for warehouses, supermarkets, staging areas, and production support.
- Supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with manufacturing, operations, warehouse, and supply chain teams to implement practical solutions.
- Using data to recommend improvements in productivity, space utilization, and material handling efficiency.

What we're looking for You should have hands-on experience in:
- Manufacturing logistics design and optimization.




- Warehouse layout and storage optimization.
- Material flow analysis.
- Line feeding and production logistics.
- Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics principles.
- Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
- Process mapping and operational analysis.
- Inventory optimization concepts.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Preferred
- Experience with automotive, industrial manufacturing, engineering, or discrete manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to simulation, AutoCAD, Visio, Power BI, or similar tools would be an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
