What you ll do at Ather:

- Jigs, Fixtures Gauges proposal preparation inline with part 2D Drawing, 3D model and functional ( Assembly ) requirements
- Stack-up analysis
- DFA for all Jigs, Fixtures Gauges.
- Jigs, Fixtures Gauges design interpretation with Assembly, Fit Function
- Review supplier proposal on Jigs, Fixtures Gauges.
- Play a lead role in resolving assembly other interference issues by making proper inspection gauge.
- Review all gauges to meet NABL requirements
- Review all position gauges concept Pin calculations as per IS 3455 requirements
- Review fixtures concepts for meet the 3,2,1 proposals Proper pickup points on parts
- Drawing review and internal manufacturing feasibility feedback to engineering.
- Part CTQ and process CTQ identification and operation sequence planning to meet the requirement.
- Work closely with relevant suppliers and design teams to make parts first time right w.r.t inspection on all parts
- Involve in addressing the DFM with the Engineering team to make manufacturing feasible
- Create strategies for ramp up and scale up activities. Highlight risks and issues associated with suppliers w.r.t Jigs, Fixtures Gauges




- Help in creating a systematic inspection development plan as per APQP.
- Review Fixtures and gauge concepts and give go ahead to tool design kick off
- Support for ramp up plan and support suppliers in creation of line scale up concepts
- Help in process audits, product audit QMS audit and driving closure of non-conformities with CFT w.r.t. Jigs, Fixtures Gauges Here s what we are looking for: Domain skills:
- Jigs, Fixtures Gauges design development
- Machining operation knowledge and Machine know how
- Stack up Analysis w.r.t fit function
- Know how of tools and has worked with multiple manufacturers
- Problem solving using systematic approaches like PDCA, 8D, Fish bone analysis, FMEA, 5-Why would be an added benefit
- Knowledge of APQP way of development of things
- Supplier development Tools:
- Solid works
- SPC, MSA, RR
- Drawing Model interpretation
- Quality Control tools
- Lean manufacturing tools like Kaizen, VSM, Standardization
- DOE
