CRY's reach is pan-India with a presence in 20 states, working to ensure happier childhoods for India's children.

This role sits within CRY's Programme function, linking CRY with CRY-supported projects across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Role As the link between CRY and CRY-supported projects in the project area (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu), the Manager – Programme will support planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of partner-led programs aligned with CRY's child rights framework, working closely with partner organizations, government departments, and community stakeholders to strengthen child rights interventions and influence positive outcomes for children.

Responsibilities Support planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of partner-led programs aligned with CRY's child rights framework

Conduct regular field visits to assess program quality, monitor progress, and provide technical support to partners

Review program performance against agreed objectives, indicators, and budgets, ensuring timely corrective actions





Assess partner organizational capacities and facilitate capacity-building initiatives

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with partner organizations, providing ongoing guidance and mentoring

Prepare high-quality reports, program analyses, case studies, and documentation in English

Track project budgets, monitor fund utilization, and ensure compliance with organizational policies

Engage with government departments, local governance institutions, and other stakeholders to strengthen child rights interventions

Support networking, advocacy, and collaboration with civil society organizations and community groups

Maintain project data and support evidence-based decision-making and timely reporting Requirements Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or a related social science discipline

5-8 years of relevant experience in urban and/or rural development programs

Demonstrated experience in planning, monitoring, and evaluating development projects

Experience working with NGOs, community-based organizations, and government departments

Experience in child rights programming and community mobilization preferred





Prior experience working with communities in Karnataka and/or Tamil Nadu an added advantage

Strong written, reading, and verbal communication skills in English mandatory

Fluency in Tamil and Kannada (read, write, speak) essential

Knowledge of Hindi and other South Indian languages an added advantage
