Compensation
Total CTC: ₹8,00,000 per annum
Fixed Pay: ₹6,40,000 per annum
Performance-linked Variable Pay: Up to ₹1,60,000 per annum (20% of total CTC)

About The Role
We are looking for a Manager, Communications & Marketing to lead the communications and marketing function across One Future Collective and its consulting practice.
This role is responsible for shaping and strengthening our organisational brand, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, and driving visibility for our work, partnerships, and thought leadership. You will lead the development and execution of communication and marketing strategies that support organisational growth, business development, fundraising, and public engagement.
This is a strategic and execution-oriented role. You will be expected to move comfortably between developing long-term communication strategies and managing day-to-day communications, campaigns, and digital platforms. You will work closely with the CEO and colleagues across programmes and consulting to ensure our communications are timely, engaging, and aligned with our organisational values.
As a growing organisation, we are looking for someone who enjoys building systems, identifying opportunities, experimenting with new approaches, and strengthening the way we communicate our work to diverse audiences.
Key Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in communications, marketing, journalism, media, public relations, digital marketing, design, or another relevant field is preferred.
- A Master’s degree is not required for this role. Please note that a Master’s degree does not substitute for the required full-time work experience. We assess candidates based on demonstrated professional experience, skills, and the ability to perform the responsibilities of this role.
Experience
Applicants must have
- At least 3-5 years of relevant full-time professional experience in communications, marketing, branding, media, digital communications, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication strategies across multiple platforms.
- Experience managing websites, social media platforms,
newsletters, and digital campaigns.
- Experience overseeing organisational branding and ensuring consistency across communication materials.
- Experience using communication and marketing analytics to evaluate performance and inform decision-making.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly for different audiences.
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
- Technical skills needed: should be comfortable with the use of Canva, Photoshop or other photo editing software. Should also be comfortable using video editing software.

Roles And Responsibilities
Communications Strategy
- Lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s communications and marketing strategy.
- Develop annual communication plans aligned with organisational priorities and business development goals.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen organisational visibility and public engagement.
- Ensure consistency in organisational messaging, tone, and brand identity across all communication channels.
Brand Management
- Strengthen and maintain the brand across all platforms.
- Maintain brand guidelines and communication standards.
- Review external communication materials to ensure consistency, quality, and accessibility.
- Support colleagues in producing communication materials that align with organisational standards.
Digital Marketing
- Lead the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
- Manage and continuously improve the organisation’s website.
- Oversee search engine optimisation (SEO), website performance,
and user experience.
- Develop strategies to improve digital reach, audience engagement, and conversions.
- Monitor website analytics, recommend improvements based on performance and coordinate with the website management agency.
Content Strategy and Development
- Lead the development of content calendars across communication platforms.
- Oversee the creation of blogs, newsletters, reports, publications, social media content, and campaign materials.
- Edit and review written content to ensure clarity, quality, and consistency.
- Work with programme teams to effectively communicate research, learning resources, consulting engagements, and organisational updates.
Marketing and Business Development Support
- Develop communication materials that support fundraising and consulting business development.
- Create proposals, presentations, brochures, capability statements, and promotional materials where required.
- Support the visibility of consulting services through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to position the organisation and its leadership through media engagement, speaking opportunities, and thought leadership.
Analytics and Performance
- Strategise offline marketing efforts and integrate them.
- Monitor communication and marketing performance across digital platforms.
- Develop regular reports using relevant metrics and analytics.
- Use audience insights and data to continuously improve communication strategies and campaigns.
- Stay updated on emerging communication tools, technologies, and best practices.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with consultants, programme teams, designers, photographers, videographers, and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of communication outputs.
- Support and mentor junior communications colleagues and interns where required.
- Build systems and processes that improve communication workflows and organisational efficiency.
