About Position:
The Microsoft Fabric Developer role is responsible for supporting the migration of Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines into Microsoft Fabric Data Factory. The individual will analyse existing integrations, assist in redesigning and developing native Fabric pipelines, validate orchestration workflows, and support end-to-end deployment using contemporary DevOps practices. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on reliable, low-risk migration of production data integration workloads under the guidance of senior engineers.

What You'll Do:
Assist in reviewing existing ADF pipelines and documenting activities, datasets, linked services, triggers, parameters, and inter-pipeline dependencies.
Prepare and maintain migration inventory and pipeline mapping documentation for current ADF orchestrations.
Convert common ADF activities to Fabric Data Factory equivalents such as Copy, Stored Procedure, Lookup, ForEach, If Condition,
and Execute Pipeline under guidance.
Identify migration gaps, configuration issues, and practical workarounds, and document findings for review by senior engineers.
Develop and modify Fabric data pipelines for copy activities, stored-procedure execution, lookups, and basic control-flow orchestration.
Configure or update Fabric connections across Azure SQL Managed Instance and Fabric Warehouse with support from senior team members.
Set up pipeline parameters, variables, execution sequence, triggers, and schedules as per approved design.
Execute pipeline test runs and validate activity outputs, row counts, logs, and expected results.
Troubleshoot common issues related to parameter passing, stored-procedure execution, retry logic, error handling, and run order using Fabric monitoring.
