Job Title: Sales Officer – Green Coffee and Roasted Coffee Beans

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Identify and onboard new B2B clients cafés, restaurants, hotels, corporate pantries, roasters, and wholesalers in Pan India
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for both green and roasted coffee segments
Generate leads through cold calling, market visits, trade shows, and referrals
Convert prospects into long-term accounts through relationship-led selling

Account & Relationship Management

Maintain and grow existing client accounts through regular visits and follow-ups
Understand client requirements (bean origin, roast profile, grade, quantity) and coordinate with the sourcing/roasting team
Resolve client queries related to quality, delivery, and pricing

Market & Product Knowledge

Stay updated on coffee varieties (Arabica/Robusta), origins, grading, roast profiles, and market pricing trends




Educate clients on bean quality, cupping notes, and usage (brewing methods, blends)
Track competitor offerings and market pricing in Mumbai/Maharashtra

Order & Logistics Coordination

Process orders, coordinate with warehouse/logistics for timely delivery
Manage inventory visibility for regular clients
Ensure proper documentation, invoicing, and payment follow-up

Reporting

Maintain CRM/sales trackers with client details, order history, and pipeline status
Submit daily/weekly sales reports and forecasts to management

Key Skills & Competencies

Solid communication and negotiation skills
Relationship-building and client servicing mindset
Basic product knowledge of coffee (or willingness to learn quickly — cupping, grading, roast levels)
Target-driven with a proactive sales approach
Competitors track Pan India
Local market knowledge of Mumbai's HORECA ecosystem is a plus
Proficiency in MS Excel/CRM to
