Job Title: Manager Backend Engineering

Job Summary:
As Backend Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the development of our backend architecture and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers, defining the technical strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your experience with Node.js, Python, Microservices, Gen AI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, API, Azure and other modern technologies will be pivotal in guiding the team towards achieving our technical vision.
This role requires a balance of deep technical expertise and leadership skills. You will have the opportunity to shape the technical direction, mentorengineers, and build high-performing teams while aligning engineering efforts with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead,



mentor and manage a team of backend/full stack engineers, including setting clear goals, providing mentorship, and conducting performance reviews.
Drive engineering best practices, including coding standards, reviews, QA and process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) to deliver seamless, user-focused web applications.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning within the engineering team.

Technical Strategy & Execution:
Define and drive the technical vision for development.
Architect and implement scalable, maintainable, and high performance web/mobile applications.
Ensure the technology tech stack is up to date, making informed decisions on the adoption of new frameworks, libraries, and tools.
Lead the evaluation and integration of recent technologies that improve development velocity using Gen AI tools and enhance the user experience.
