About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Engineer to join our team at VyomIC, where we are building the next-generation Global LEO-PNT (Positioning, Navigation, and Timing) satellite constellation from India.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement, sourcing, inventory, and the supplier ecosystem that support the development and deployment of our spacecraft and ground infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure the timely availability of critical hardware, components, and services, helping establish a resilient and scalable supply chain for one of India's most ambitious space technology programs.

Minimum Experience: 2 - 6 yrs with space domain experience preferred

Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize supply chain and procurement activities for spacecraft, payload, avionics, RF, power, mechanical, ground-segment hardware, and testing services.




Support project execution through timely procurement and delivery of materials, components, and services in alignment with project schedules.
Manage and research about import licenses and other certifications.
Research, evaluate, qualify, and manage suppliers, while maintaining approved vendor databases and solid vendor relationships and redundant supply chain.
Prepare and manage RFQs, BOMs, RFPs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
Coordinate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements, evaluate alternate components, and proactively plan for future procurement needs and develop the risk management strategy
Manage inventory, monitor component availability and obsolescence risks, and ensure the availability of critical materials. Risk management strategy
