Roles and Responsibilities
1. HT & LT Electrical System Maintenance
- Operation and maintenance of 11 kV HT electrical systems.
- Maintenance of LT power distribution systems including transformers, PCC, MCC, APFC panels, and electrical distribution networks.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and rectification of electrical faults in power distribution systems.
- Protected isolation, switching, and restoration of electrical systems during maintenance activities.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems to minimize downtime.
1. Distribution Transformer Maintenance
- Operation and maintenance of distribution transformers associated with HT/LT power systems.
- Monitoring transformer health parameters, oil level, temperature, and electrical performance.
- Inspection and maintenance of transformer protection systems and associated switchgear.
- Troubleshooting transformer-related electrical issues and coordination for testing and servicing.
1. Standby DG Set Maintenance
- Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of standby Diesel Generator (DG) sets.
- Monitoring DG functioning, AMF panel operations.
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG electrical systems, control panels, batteries, alternators, and auxiliaries.
- Ensuring readiness and reliability of emergency backup power systems.
1. Switchgear Maintenance
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of:
- Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB)
- Air Circuit Breakers (ACB)
- MCCBs, MCBs, protective relays, and switchgear panels
- Periodic inspection, testing, and servicing of breakers, relays, and protection systems.
1. CNC Machine Maintenance
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of CNC machines.
- Working knowledge of CNC control systems including:
- Siemens Sinumerik
- Fanuc CNC systems
- Troubleshooting of
- PLC systems
- HMI systems
- Servo motors and servo drives
- CNC control panels and electrical circuits
- Encoders, sensors, limit switches, and machine interlocks
- Reading and understanding electrical drawings, PLC logic, ladder diagrams, and machine schematics.
- Breakdown analysis and troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime.
1. Utility Equipment Maintenance
- Operation and maintenance of utility systems including:
- RO Plant electrical systems
- Air conditioning systems (AC/HVAC)
- Cooling towers
- Plate Heat Exchangers (PHE)
- Engine water circulation pumps
- Utility motors, pumps, and associated control panels
- Ensuring reliability and uninterrupted functioning of utility equipment
Required Qualification:
- B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing industry
