Job Summary The Logistics Executive (HMV) is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of milk and dairy products between collection centers, the processing unit, and distribution hubs. The role requires adherence to traffic regulations, vehicle maintenance, documentation, and support in loading and unloading operations to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) safely and responsibly.
Transport milk and dairy products as per the assigned route and schedule.
Ensure timely pickup and delivery without compromising product quality.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
Verify loading and unloading quantities with relevant documents.
Maintain trip sheets, fuel records, and vehicle logbooks accurately.
Follow company SOPs, road safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
Coordinate with the Logistics, Production, and Farmer Relation teams for smooth operations.
Handle emergency situations responsibly and report incidents immediately.
Ensure the security of company assets and products during transportation.
Educational Qualification
Minimum: 10th Standard / 12th Standard.
Experience
Experience in FMCG, dairy, food processing, or logistics is preferred.
Mandatory Requirements
Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence.
Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety.
Basic vehicle troubleshooting knowledge.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including night shifts
