What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer (with backend specialization), you will play a pivotal role within the GCI team.
In this role, you will:
Develop and maintain robust, high-performance Java-based APIs
Design and implement cloud-native backend services on AWS across serverless (Lambda, API Gateway) and containerized (ECS/EKS) platforms
Architect and evolve distributed, event-driven systems for high-throughput processing, resilience, and scalability
Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and production troubleshooting to uphold engineering excellence
Define and improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment strategies for reliable cloud delivery
What You’ll Bring
Have 9+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering.
Expert-level proficiency with Java (21+), modern Java frameworks
