Position Summary
The Provisionally Licensed Behavior Analyst (PLBA) is an early-career clinical role designed for individuals who hold a Missouri PLBA license (or are eligible) working under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). The PLBA assists in assessment, treatment development, supervision of RBTs, and direct service provision while developing skills required for independent practice. This is a growth-oriented role with structured mentorship, supervision hours,
and advancement pathways within Bright Arch ABA.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Treatment
Conduct assessments under supervision, including FBAs, preference assessments, and skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland).
Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs aligned with the supervising LBA’s guidance.
Collect, analyze, and interpret client data to inform ongoing treatment decisions.
Provide direct clinical services when appropriate.
Supervision of RBTs & Technicians
Assist in training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians.
Deliver performance feedback, modeling, and coaching to support treatment fidelity.
Participate in competency evaluations and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
Caregiver & School Collaboration
Support caregiver training and education using applied behavior analytic strategies.
Coordinate with school personnel,
