Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Hospitality & Tourism
Location: India (Remote)
Availability requirement: Minimum 20-30 hours per week

Required Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Hotel Administration, Food Service Management, Marketing, or related field. HACCP/Food Safety certification preferred.

Required Skills
Knowledge of hospitality operations, tourism, and customer service.
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles.
Familiarity with hospitality marketing and sales practices.
Ability to review industry-specific educational content.
Robust communication and curriculum review skills.
Strong subject matter expertise in the assigned career cluster.
Experience with curriculum development, instructional design, or educational publishing.
Knowledge of state standards, curriculum correlation, and standards mapping.
Ability to review instructional materials for technical accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
Strong analytical, editing, proofreading, and quality assurance skills.




Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality educational content.

Key Responsibilities
Review hospitality and tourism curriculum for industry alignment.
Validate food safety and sanitation content.
Participate in review meetings and project discussions.
Conduct curriculum correlation review against state and national standards.
Perform state standards mapping and alignment verification.
Review SBs for technical accuracy, pedagogy, grade-level appropriateness, and hospitality case studies.
Review multimedia assets, including images, videos, animations, and interactives, for subject accuracy and instructional effectiveness.
Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and required revisions
