The Prospect:
Electrical Engineering research, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. This role applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
How will you make an impact:
The successful candidate will work as an Electrical Design Engineer for traction transformers and will be responsible for electrical design activities across tender support, order execution, and customer support.
Provide tender-stage engineering support by reviewing customer specifications, identifying technical deviations, preparing clarifications, supporting preliminary electrical design inputs, and assisting in technical and commercial alignment.
Support order execution by preparing, reviewing, and releasing electrical design deliverables such as electrical calculations, winding data, connection diagrams, rating plates, bill of materials, technical specifications, and manufacturing inputs as per order requirements.
Coordinate with production, planning, quality, SCM, testing, project management, and global engineering teams to ensure timely engineering releases and resolution of factory execution queries.
Provide customer support by responding to technical queries, supporting customer documentation, participating in technical discussions, addressing comments, and ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
