Job Description Summary
The Post-Trade Services & Risk Associate monitors, manages & prevents risks within the clearing house & financial system. The incumbent provides positive input & direction to specific projects partially owned by the Clearing House & the Risk team. He/She manages risks through tolerance analysis, margin analysis & customer/product specific analysis. They work to prevent risk through communication between the Clearing House Risk Team Senior Management & Sr. Management staff.
Principle Accountabilities:
Monitor daily clearing and settlement processes to ensure timely completion of clearing end of day cycle
Responsible for Regulatory reporting of trades per Part 43/45 of DCO reporting regulations.
Customer query support in APAC time zone for Post-Trade Services related questions.
Perform risk management and monitoring of various system to ensure that all clearing members are meeting their margin requirements.
Identify and escalate potential operational risk to management
Develop and maintain relationships with clearing members and other stakeholders.




Work closely with other departments including trade operation, risk management and technology to ensure that all the processes are functioning efficiently and effectively
Participate in testing / DR testing and implementation of new system and processes related to clearing operations
Prepare and maintain documentation/SOP of clearing processes
Provide support to other areas of clearing house as needed
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor/Master’s degree in business, finance or in equivalent field
4 - 7 years of experience in operation preferably in a clearing or settlement environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of derivatives markets and financial instruments preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
