Position: Mechanical Engineer – Water Systems

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer – Water Systems to support the operation and optimization of industrial water and wastewater utility systems. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) systems (preferred), and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) processes. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant utility operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimize Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP),



and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) facilities.
* Person should have proficiency in using Gen AI Tools, Copilot, Copilot library & Agent bots.
* Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for process optimization, energy efficiency, and water conservation.
* Ensure compliance with statutory environmental regulations and discharge norms.
* Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for pumps, valves, piping systems, filtration units, membranes, evaporators, crystallizers, and associated equipment.
* Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Support capacity expansion, debottlenecking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Prepare technical reports, SOPs, maintenance procedures, and project documentation.
* Ensure adherence to EHS standards, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
