DEPROSC-Nepal, a non-governmental organization established in 1993 and registered at the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has worked across 69 districts through 96 projects at different times. The organization has covered diverse thematic areas including agriculture, livestock, horticulture, entrepreneurship development, access to finance, rural finance, migration, WASH, community infrastructure, natural resource management, financial and digital literacy, and disaster risk reduction and humanitarian response. It has promoted two microfinance institutions in Nepal: Deprosc Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. and NADEP Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd.

Key Requirements

Certified Accountant (CA/ACCA) or MBA/M.Com. with a major in Finance/Accountancy/Taxation
Minimum of 7 years of qualified experience as a Finance Officer, Finance Manager, or Head of Finance
Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting, budgeting, and reporting
Practical knowledge of taxation rules and regulations of Nepal (PAN, Income Tax, VAT, and tax exemption)
Experience working in development projects (budgeting, planning, and reporting)
Practical knowledge of NAS for NPOs
