Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator who can take complete ownership of Linux server deployment, security, performance, and ongoing administration. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with multiple Linux distributions, containerization, mail servers, web hosting platforms, and production infrastructure.

This is not a beginner or support-level role—we require someone capable of independently designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and optimizing production Linux environments.

Mail Server Administration Hands-on experience deploying and managing Linux-based mail servers, including:

Experience with hosting panels such as:

Should be able to identify and resolve:
- High CPU usage
- Memory bottlenecks
- Disk I/O issues
- Network latency
- Slow database performance
- Mail queue problems
- Docker resource issues

Backup & Disaster Recovery

Experience with

- Automated backups
- Snapshot management
- Remote backup storage
- Server restoration
- Disaster recovery planning

Documentation Maintain detailed documentation including:
- Commands executed
- Configuration files modified
- Security changes
- Installation procedures
- Troubleshooting steps
- Architecture diagrams (where applicable)
- Maintenance guides

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Mailcow deployment and management
- OnlyOffice/Collabora
- Kubernetes (basic knowledge)
- VMware
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Hetzner Cloud
- Scripting with Bash or Python

Required Experience
- 3+ years of Linux system administration
- Strong Docker and container management experience
- Proven experience with Linux mail server deployment and management
- Experience managing production environments
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Linux infrastructure independently

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
