Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Linux / Unix Administrator with 4-6 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), OS patching, troubleshooting, and L2 support . Experience with automation tools and ITSM processes is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for Linux and Unix infrastructure.
- Perform system administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Administer and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Plan and execute OS patching and lifecycle management activities.
- Resolve incidents and service requests while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Implement automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Participate in transition, optimization, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix system administration.
- Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Oracle Linux .
- Hands-on experience with OS patching , system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Experience administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) .
- Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef .
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite Server 6 for patch and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow, PuTTY, Orion, and Centrify .
- Positive understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill.
