Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a proactive Linux System Administrator to manage and secure our production Linux servers. The role includes installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL servers while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer Linux servers, user access, SSH, and system performance.
- Apply security patches, configure firewalls, SSL/TLS, and Fail2Ban.
- Manage Nginx/Apache web servers, reverse proxies, and basic MySQL/PostgreSQL administration.
- Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server performance.
- Implement automated backups, disaster recovery procedures, and Bash scripting for routine tasks.
- Maintain technical documentation and system health reports.

Requirements:



Strong Linux administration skills, networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH), experience with web servers, databases, monitoring tools, and Bash scripting. Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Proxmox/KVM) and AWS is an advantage. RHCSA/RHCE/LFCS certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills, ownership, and the ability to respond effectively to production incidents. Practical hands-on assessments will be preferred during the hiring process.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹67,000.00 per month
