Role - Linux Multimedia Engineer

Experience - 3 to 6 years

Location - Hyderabad

- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Should be very familiar with the usage of AI tools.
- Experience in Android and Linux multimedia frameworks and Linux Kernel development, with a focus on V4L2.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and multithreaded programming.
- Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, data structures, and basic algorithms, particularly for Linux/Android platforms.
- Software debugging skills in embedded real-time operating systems, preferably on Linux platforms.
- Video usage models including playback, streaming,



camcorder, Wi-Fi display, and content protection.
- Video compression standards such as H.264/H.265/AV1.
- Linux device-driver development and debugging, such as V4L2.
- Streaming protocols and implementation, such as HLS/HTTP/DASH.
- Expertise with Linux tools and techniques, such as WinDbg and JTAG.
- ARM or other embedded SoC development and debugging.

Must-have skills: C, AI tools, data structures, RTOS, and multimedia framework expertise. Valuable-to-have skills: C++, V4L2, video codecs, GStreamer, Android, and embedded-domain expertise.
