We are looking for a Linux Embedded Developer with solid expertise in Board Support Package (BSP) development, Linux Kernel, U-Boot, Device Tree, FPGA, and RISC-V. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and customizing embedded Linux platforms, device drivers, and low-level system software for embedded hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Embedded Linux software for custom hardware platforms.
- Develop and customize Linux BSP, Kernel, U-Boot, and Device Tree.
- Develop, port, and debug Linux device drivers.
- Bring up new hardware platforms and support board initialization.
- Work with FPGA teams for hardware/software integration.
- Develop solutions for RISC-V based embedded platforms.
- Optimize Linux kernel performance, boot time, and memory utilization.
- Debug kernel and hardware-related issues using Linux debugging tools.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and application teams throughout product development.
- Contribute to open-source Linux development and system optimization.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ECE/EEE/CSE or related discipline).
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Strong experience in Linux BSP Development.
- Hands-on experience with Linux Kernel Development.
- Expertise in U-Boot customization and bootloader development.
- Strong knowledge of Device Tree (DTS/DTB).
- Experience in Linux Device Driver Development.
- Good understanding of Linux internals (Kernel, Memory Management, Process Scheduling, File Systems).
- Experience with FPGA integration.
- Hands-on experience with RISC-V architecture.
- Good knowledge of Shell Scripting.
- Experience with debugging tools such as GDB, JTAG, KGDB, Trace32, or similar.
- Familiarity with Git and embedded Linux build systems (Yocto/Buildroot is a plus).
