Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Legal Recovery Manager to oversee legal recovery processes for delinquent loan accounts. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in NBFC legal recovery, debt resolution, and legal coordination. The role requires managing recovery through legal channels while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage legal recovery cases for overdue and default loan accounts.
- Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, and recovery agencies.
- Draft, review, and issue legal notices to defaulting borrowers.
- Monitor court cases and legal proceedings related to loan recovery.
- Ensure timely filing and follow-up of legal cases.
- Develop legal recovery strategies to maximize recoveries.
- Maintain recovery MIS and provide regular reports to management.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Collections, Credit, Risk, and Compliance.
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and applicable legal regulations.




- Handle escalated recovery matters and negotiate settlements where appropriate.

Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) is preferred. Graduates with relevant legal recovery experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 3 To 5 years of experience in Legal Recovery within an NBFC, Banking, or Financial Services.
- Experience in handling legal recovery for unsecured loans, personal loans, payday loans, or digital lending will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of recovery laws, legal documentation, and court procedures.
- Solid negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
