Role Description The Legal Consultant (Labour Law) will provide expert legal guidance on labor and employment regulations to clients and internal stakeholders. This full time, on-site role is based in Gurugram and involves advising on compliance with labor laws, drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and other HR-related legal documents.

The consultant will assess legal risks, support the resolution of workplace disputes, and assist with disciplinary procedures and employee grievance handling in alignment with statutory requirements.



Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring changes in labor legislation, preparing legal opinions and reports, supporting audits and inspections, and collaborating with HR and management teams to ensure consistent, compliant practices. The role also requires conducting training or briefings on labor law topics for clients and team members when needed.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Law, with specific expertise in labor and employment regulations.
- Ability to handle Legal Document Preparation, including contracts, policies, notices, and compliance records.
- Experience identifying and managing Legal Issues related to workplace practices, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven capability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice and Legal Assistance to clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); LL.M in labor or employment law is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a legal consultant or in-house legal counsel focusing on labor law, preferably in consulting or HR services.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts in accessible language.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines on-site in Gurugram.
