We are looking for a Lead Processor Verification Engineer to drive the functional verification of next-generation ARM-based processors and subsystems . You will be responsible for developing robust verification environments, creating comprehensive test plans, and validating complex processor architectures to ensure first-pass silicon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Own functional verification of ARM-based processors and related subsystem scenarios .
- Develop comprehensive verification plans, test cases, and verification strategies .
- Design and implement SystemVerilog and C-based testbenches for processor verification.
- Execute processor benchmark workloads and analyze functional correctness.
- Verify processor features including ISA, cache architecture, coherency, and memory subsystem .
- Debug complex design and verification issues through simulation and waveform analysis.
- Collaborate closely with RTL, architecture, and validation teams to achieve verification closure.
- Improve verification productivity through automation and reusable verification methodologies.
Required Technical Skills
- 4–8 years of experience in Design Verification.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SystemVerilog and C-based testbench development .
- Solid understanding of ARM processor architecture and ISA verification .
- Experience verifying Cache, Cache Coherency, and Memory Subsystems .
- Strong knowledge of AMBA AXI and ACE protocols .
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with simulation, regression, and functional coverage-driven verification methodologies.
Valuable to Have
- Scripting experience using Python and/or Perl .
- Exposure to RISC-V processor verification .
- Experience with processor benchmarking and performance validation.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
