Job Purpose:
The Fragrance Design Assistant Manager will be responsible for creating fragrance design rules and digital models,



to help improve stability and performance of fragrances via design of experiments covering fragrance ingredients and chassis components.
Main Accountabilities:
Mapping fragrance raw materials and chassis for performance and stability studies in different formats for HC, PC and BW categories.
Design robust screening protocols across formats – neat PRM, fragrance oils, in base, aged base under various torturous conditions (heat, light, UV, moisture). Generate analytical and performance data via internal and external partners. Identify simple pass/fail criteria with accelerated tests.
Establish explicit technical criteria for PRM and fragrance chassis suitability, including malodour formation, discoloration, loss of key olfactive notes, phase separation, viscosity change, deposition/release performance, cost impact and manufacturability. Use these criteria to recommend whether materials should be preferred, used with restrictions, reformulated around, or avoided in specific formats.
