Primary purpose:
In addition to performing the role of service technician (see service technician job description), this position is responsible for managing the assigned territories technical operations including supervision of team members and the management of technical sales performance and profitability objectives. This position is the primary point of contact for resolving all staffing, scheduling, technical equipment issues and assisting customers as necessary with complex technical issues.

Technical library & service records are up to date
Technical jobs are effectively coordinated to maximize efficiency and reduce labour costs
Escalated customer issues are resolved promptly
Achieve/ Exceed technical sales budget:
Implement a technical sales strategy per account to maintain existing business and to develop current business opportunities. Work closely with the Zonal Technical Manager throughout the sales cycle to ensure customer technical outcomes are achieved.
Ensure all service contracts are up to date and invoiced
Increase customer base and market presence through establishing relationships with key opinion leaders, key influencers and decision makers
Track competitor activity within the assigned accounts
Maintain a high-profile presence in the market place through the creation of win-win solutions with customers which turn a sales re
