Job Description
The Analyst Workload IT role is responsible for supporting enterprise workload automation and batch operations, with a primary focus on AutoSys job monitoring, incident handling, troubleshooting, and production support. This role ensures that scheduled jobs and business-critical batch processes are completed accurately and on time by monitoring job streams, identifying failures, performing initial analysis, coordinating with application and infrastructure teams, and following defined operational procedures. The position requires strong attention to detail, timely communication, and the ability to work in critical production support environment.
Required Skills:
Hands-on knowledge of AutoSys job monitoring, job status validation, job reruns, force starts, holds, and basic job control activities.
Understanding of workload automation concepts, batch processing, job dependencies, calendars, schedules, and production workflows.
Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems, including log review and command-line navigation.




Ability to analyze AutoSys job failures, review job logs, identify common error patterns, and perform first-level troubleshooting.
Maintain job scheduling documentation, operational procedures, and process dependencies.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of job schedules, calendars, and workflows.
Knowledge of ITSM tools for incident creation, tracking, escalation, and closure.
Understanding of production support processes, shift handovers, escalation procedures, and operational documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in a time-sensitive production environment.
Positive verbal and written communication skills to provide clear updates to technical teams, business users, and shift stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and follow standard operating procedures.
