Key Responsibilities

- Lead the complete mechanical scope from engineering and material approvals through procurement, fabrication, erection, testing, commissioning and final handover.

- Review BOQ, technical specifications, drawings, P&IDs;, equipment layouts, piping layouts, isometrics, ducting layouts and vendor documents.

- Prepare and monitor mechanical execution plans, procurement schedules, method statements, inspection and test plans and system-wise commissioning programmes.

- Coordinate design, manufacturing, factory inspection, supply, erection and commissioning of 10 MT, 5 MT and spark-proof EOT cranes.

- Manage industrial ventilation systems comprising supply and exhaust fans, AHUs, pre-filter and HEPA-filter banks, CS/SS ducts, dampers, supports and associated accessories.

- Supervise fabrication and erection of SS304L process piping, fittings, valves, supports and equipment connections.

- Ensure proper GTAW welding with argon back-purging, fit-up, alignment, pickling, passivation and cleanliness control.

- Coordinate preparation and approval of WPS, PQR, WPQ, QAP, ITP, method statements, weld maps and weld inspection reports.

- Ensure compliance with radiography, liquid-penetrant testing, dimensional inspection, hydro/pneumatic testing, flushing and other specified NDT requirements.

- Supervise SS304L lining works,



including welding, DP examination, vacuum-box testing and rectification.

- Coordinate installation and commissioning of process tanks, ion-exchange columns, decontamination systems, pumps, agitators, centrifuge, air receivers, compressors, dryers and associated equipment.

- Manage compressed-air, raw-water, PAD, process-piping and fire-hydrant/fire-mitigation systems.

- Review equipment foundations, embedded plates, openings, sleeves, crane brackets, supports and civil-mechanical interfaces before construction.

- Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, C&I;, PLC/SCADA, Radiation Monitoring and other specialized agencies for interface and integrated commissioning requirements.

- Conduct technical evaluation of vendors and subcontractors and support commercial negotiations, order finalization and subcontractor scope definition.

- Review vendor drawings, datasheets, calculations, manufacturing documents, QAPs, material test certificates and factory-test reports.

- Plan and witness FAT, stage inspections, site inspections, SAT, performance tests and system trials.

- Monitor quantities, material reconciliation, subcontractor measurements, BOQ consumption and certification of mechanical bills.

- Maintain system-wise completion dossiers
